5th Grade students had the opportunity to visit Hershey State Bank today! The current 5th graders will have an opportunity to serve as a teller for the 2023-24 school year as part of The Panther Branch (In-School Savings Program). Kaye Monie, Allie Norquest, Amy Bellew and the entire Hershey Branch Team invited us in and were able to speak more specifically what the purpose of the bank is, saving money, the job of a teller, and even were able to tour the building! We are grateful for our partnership with such an amazing home town bank like Hershey State Bank, where student are able to learn life-skills and apply them to future real world experiences. The Bank spoiled the kiddos with a bag of popcorn as they left!
5th Grade Students will be meeting again this Wednesday, March 29 to learn more about a bank register, deposit slips, the importance of confidentiality, hard work, and serving others! We encourage you and your child to consider serving on the Hershey Panther Branch for the 2023-24 school year! Notes will be sent home with more information at the beginning of next school year.
A special thanks to Hershey State Bank and the entire staff that has made this possible.
