Hershey FFA brings the farm to students

On Wednesday, April 19 Hershey FFA members hosted the very first Elementary Ag Day at Hershey Public Schools. Hershey FFA members organized this all day event which featured six different species of livestock (sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, cattle, and horses) and taught elementary students the importance of tractor safety.
Special thanks goes to Troyer Enterprises, the Willard, Fuchser, Fries, Zahradnicek, Vaughn, Sachtjen, and Bode families, Titan Machinery, Tractor Supply Co., and the Lincoln County Farm Bureau for providing support in the form of lunch, livestock, tractor, fencing, and educational materials.
