Field Day - Parents are welcome to attend!

Schedule of Events

8:30-11:15

• K-3 classes will report to the track to their field event
• 4-6 will be doing running events. They need to report to Mr. Lowther and Mrs. Bode by the infield.

11:15-11:45

• Lunch will be served out at the Concession stand. Students will eat on the football field. (Lunch will only be provided for K-6 students and staff)
• Parents who attend are encouraged to bring their own lunch if you will be there the whole day.

11:45-1:40

• K-3 classes will report to Mr. Lowther and Mrs. Bode by the infield
• 4-6 classes will report to their field event

1:40-2:00

• Tug of War- Class versus class

A.R. Celebration - Parents are welcome to attend!

2:00-3:00

• AR awards and reading celebration

3:00-3:25

• Whip cream fling for students who met their AR goal

• Slime the PE teachers for Kids Heart Challenge students who raised over $50.

Morning

• Kindergarten-3rd Grade will be doing field events from 8:30-11:15
• 4th-6th  will be doing running events from 8:30-11:15

• We will be running the 100, 200, & 400 in that order. Students who are not running in the event will be watching and cheering on their classmates.
• We will go in grade order, 4th grade followed by 5th grade then 6th grade.
• Girls and boys will be mixed together to fill the lanes.  
• We will run the 4x1 relay after the completion of individual races.

Afternoon

• 4th-6th Grade will be doing field events from 11:45-1:40
• KDG-3rd  will be doing running events from 11:45-1:40

• We will be running the 50, 100, 200, & 400 in that order. Students who are not running in the event will be watching and cheering on their classmates.
• We will go in grade order starting with Kindergarten ending with 3rd Grade.  
• Girls and boys will be mixed together to fill the lanes.  
• We will run the relays after the completion of individual races.

LUNCH

K-12 students will be served lunch out of the concession stand.  Entrée-Hamburger; Vegetable-Baked Beans;  Water

If students bring their own cold lunch, please note that no microwaves will be available

Due to sheer numbers parents are encouraged to bring their own lunch;  only K-12 students will be served on this day.
