All 5th grade students had the opportunity to visit Hershey State Bank and see some of the daily duties that they perform. If your son or daughter is interested, they will work in small teams on a rotating basis and will serve approximately once a month when Hershey Panther Branch of Hershey State Bank is open for business. Note: Tellers do NOT have to open a savings account themselves – it is an optional opportunity, as it is for all the students.
This Wednesday, April 3rd, students will learn more characteristics in becoming a teller: aptitude in math, being responsible and prompt, honesty, attention to detail, clear handwriting, being friendly and helpful to other students, and ability to follow adult directions. This is an effort to help prepare them as they will be our lead tellers for next school year (2024-25). More information will be sent home at a later date.
