We are thrilled to announce our upcoming 1st Annual Bump Up Day, scheduled for Friday, May 10, 2024, from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM. This event is designed to provide an exciting opportunity for our students to get acquainted with their next grade level teachers and peers.
Who will participate?
All students who will be entering Preschool through 6th grade in the year 2024
What do parents have to do?
Parents do not have to do anything outside of a normal day of school. Make sure your child is at school and they will get to participate!
Purpose of Bump Up Day:
The primary objective of Bump Up Day is to familiarize students with their upcoming grade level environment. By meeting their future teachers, students can start building connections and easing the transition to the next academic year. This event aims to reduce any apprehension or uncertainty students may feel about moving up a grade and create a sense of excitement and anticipation for the coming year.
Bump Up Day provides a sneak peek into the curriculum, classroom expectations, and the overall atmosphere of the next grade level. It allows students to ask questions, explore their new classroom space, and begin forming relationships with their teachers before the start of the new school year.
We believe that by participating in Bump Up Day, students will feel more confident and prepared as they embark on the next stage of their educational journey.
