Summer Library:
We are excited to announce that our summer library will be open to students and families on select Thursday mornings to help keep reading alive during the summer break! Join us for some literary fun and exploration at the following dates: June 13th, June 20th, July 11th, July 18th, July 25th
The library will be open from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on each of these dates. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to discover new books, take A.R. tests, and maintain their reading skills over the summer months.
We encourage parents and guardians to bring their children to the summer library sessions to foster a love of reading and learning outside of the traditional school year. Mrs. Abbott will be on hand to assist students in finding books that match their interests and reading levels.

Hershey Public Schools will be once again offering summer enrichment through IXL. Released in 2007, IXL has set a new standard for online learning by delivering a truly personalized learning experience. Trusted by schools in all of the top 100 U.S. school districts and used by over 13 million students, IXL is proven to accelerate learning. IXL will provide an opportunity for your child to reinforce past skills, while also challenging them with thousands of other interactive skills. This is a fun way for your child to keep their learning fresh! IXL will be available for all students who recently completed Kindergarten-6th Grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
Login Information: Enclosed in your child’s end of the year progress report, you will find your child’s login information for IXL. If you are unable to locate your child’s login information, please call the elementary office at (308) 368-5572. Stacy Carder will be able to provide you with this information. Students will be challenged to correctly answer 2,500 questions by August 2, 2024. Students who successfully complete the challenge will get to have a pizza party with Mr. Thomsen at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year!
