We are excited to announce the successful completion of our second High Ability Learner (HAL) Event held on February 25th and 26th! Organized by Mrs. Stier, in collaboration with Mr. Lane Swedberg from ESU #16, this event provided our students with an engaging, hands-on STEM experience, thanks to the ESU13 STEM Lab.

Based on student feedback from a recent survey, this year’s event featured two exciting STEM activities:

🔹 Straw Rocket Design & Launching: Students showcased their creativity by designing and launching their very own straw rockets, exploring fundamental concepts of aerodynamics and force.

🔹 Coding & Robotics: Students engaged directly with coding and robotics, enhancing their problem-solving and computational thinking skills.

Participants from grades 3-8 had the flexibility to explore both activities based on their interests, creating a personalized and highly interactive learning environment.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs. Stier and Mr. Lane Swedberg (ESU #16) for organizing and running this fantastic event. Their dedication made this STEM experience both exciting and inspiring for our students. 🎉🚀🤖12345678910
