Today marked day two of the Panther P.A.W.S. program, bringing together Hershey Public School's sixth graders and seniors for an enjoyable and inspiring time of mentorship and outdoor activities. The successful event featured a range of activities including walking the track, spirited games of kickball, football tosses, soccer kicks, and plenty of opportunities for students to simply sit, relax, and chat with their mentors and mentees.
Sixth grader Carter Donohoe enthusiastically shared, "I enjoyed being able to be outside and meet up with my mentor and playing kickball." His excitement was mirrored by senior Bryce Bode, who added, "My favorite thing about being able to play in groups of people and also getting to talk to my mentee."
Senior Ethan Elliott emphasized the impact of the event, stating, "I enjoyed playing outside and being a role model and showing these kids what it's like to have fun in school, and hopefully I can inspire them to be great."
The Panther P.A.W.S. program continues to foster connections between students, encouraging leadership, friendship, and positive role modeling that embodies the Panther spirit.
