The Hershey Public Schools Educational Foundation (HPSEF) has named Lucio Carrizales as the April High School Student of the Month, recognizing his strong work ethic, leadership, and dedication to personal growth.
Lucio is on track to graduate this May, and outside of school, he stays busy working on a ranch—demonstrating his responsibility and commitment to hard work. Following graduation, Lucio plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, a decision that reflects his discipline, determination, and desire to serve his country.
Teachers have taken notice of the remarkable growth Lucio has shown throughout the school year. “I have seen so much growth with Lucio this year in class. He has turned into a quiet leader, especially in helping out younger students when I have been gone for different events. He has also been a great positive role model for our elementary students when we have gone in and done lessons with them! They even high five him when they see him in the hall! I have seen tremendous growth and am so proud of how far he has come!” shared one teacher.
Another added, “Lucio has worked really hard and stayed focused this last year. He is nice and polite towards younger students who look up to him. He'll always stop and take the time to say hi to them.”
The HPSEF Student of the Month award honors students who exemplify leadership, integrity, and a commitment to success. Lucio’s positive attitude, strong character, and work ethic make him a standout member of the Hershey student body.
Congratulations to Lucio Carrizales on being named the April HPSEF High School Student of the Month!
