The Hershey Public Schools Educational Foundation (HPSEF) is proud to announce Dillon Lorensen as the April Junior High Student of the Month. Dillon is being recognized for his academic dedication, strong character, and active involvement in school activities.
Dillon participates in a wide range of extracurriculars, including junior high football, wrestling, basketball, track & field, and FFA. Despite his busy schedule, he maintains A’s and B’s in all of his classes, consistently putting in the work to make academics a priority.
Teachers speak highly of Dillon’s positive attitude and growing leadership. “Dillon has been a joy to have in class this year. He always has a smile on his face and is even stepping outside of his comfort zone to apply for officer positions within our FFA Chapter! He is a kind and caring student,” shared one teacher.
Others have noted Dillon’s sense of responsibility and work ethic. “Dillon takes personal responsibility for himself as a student. He communicates well and looks ahead to when he is going to be gone. He puts in extra work both as a student and as an athlete.” Another added, “He has a quiet demeanor that sets him apart from his classmates.”
The HPSEF Student of the Month award honors students who demonstrate excellence in academics, character, and school involvement. Dillon’s commitment, kindness, and quiet leadership make him a deserving recipient of this recognition.
Congratulations to Dillon Lorensen on being named the April HPSEF Junior High Student of the Month!
