Hershey Public Schools is proud to recognize Vern and Kelly Ehlers and their children, TJ, Brett, and Lindsay, for their outstanding generosity and commitment to student success through a major contribution to the school’s weight room and fitness facility.
In honor of their support, the district has officially named the facility the Vern and Kelly Ehlers and Family Fitness Center. This newly enhanced space will benefit students for years to come, promoting strength, wellness, and athletic development across all grade levels.
"We are incredibly grateful to the Ehlers family for their investment in the health and future of our students," said Superintendent Jane Davis. "Their gift goes beyond equipment — it’s a lasting legacy that will support our student-athletes, physical education programs, and overall student well-being."
The contribution was formally recognized during Activities Honor Night on Monday, April 28, where students, families, and community members gathered to celebrate the Ehlers family's impact.
"Vern and Kelly have always believed in giving back," Davis added. "Thanks to their generosity, this space will continue to shape strong minds and bodies for generations of Panthers."
