Hershey HAL students participated in the second event of the school year hosted by Mrs. Samantha Pavelka and Mrs. Brett Julius! It was awesome... to say the least! Students in grades 3-8 were challenged to think outside the box and work together as partners to create coding, programing, ozobots, and much more.
Students were challenged to draw a track for their robot by utilizing markers and paper. The ozobot was to follow their creative lined designs, while inserting specific code on the track allowed the bot to: go at turbo speed, slow-motion, tornado, reverse, flash a specific color, and many more.
Lastly, students were able to take the big bots down to the super gym and operate them with the iPad. The day was ended with a bot race in which they had to push a cone from the start to finish line! A special thanks to Mrs. Pavelka and Mrs. Julius for their organization and hosting of the event. Check out our slideshow (pictures from the day)! https://docs.google.com/presen...
