Emma is a self-starter, hardworking and kind to all students. She is responsible and will take on hard tasks with a positive attitude.  Emma leads by example and is consistent in her efforts.  Teachers and students can always count on her to show up and help out.  She displays leadership in the band through her actions and organizational skills.  She comes down to the band room early to help set up the field for marching.  She helps lead the trumpets in marching band and helps the younger students remember their places on the field.  Furthermore, in Music Theory class she comes eager to learn and takes on any challenge given to her.  She is not afraid to fail, and when she does make a mistake, she works hard to fix it.  Emma is well deserving of this award.
