18 students at Hershey High School are enrolled in college courses through Mid Plains Community College this semester. The students are enrolled in a collective 41 courses.
Some of the courses taken this year are familiar to Hershey Public School students; other courses are being taken for the first time. See the attached image for a breakdown of student enrollment.
As students look toward their future, the opportunity to earn college credit during high school can help them learn more about career paths that interest them, get a jumpstart on their general education course requirements, and experience the rigor of college courses while receiving additional support from Hershey teachers if needed.
