This Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. Their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our freedoms are an inspiration to us all. At Hershey Public Schools, we are proud to teach our students about the courage and resilience of our veterans, and we are grateful for the opportunity to build a community that values their contributions. Walk club will transition back to the activity center starting today, November 11, 2024

Hershey’s Veteran’s Day program will take place on Monday, November 11 at 9:30 am in the Competition Gym. The public is welcome to attend. Please have students wear red, white, and/or blue clothing.

SCHEDULE UPDATE Basketball - December 14th games will be bumped back to allow kiddos to take the ACT. The Reserves will tip at 12:30 PM, followed by the JV, approximately 1:30 PM. Varsity girls will be after the JV, approximately 3:00 PM. Boys varsity after the gals varsity.

EDGAR RENE SPANISH CONCERT AT HERSHEY HIGH SCHOOL!!!! The Hershey Spanish department hosted the Edgar Rene Concert as a part of the Justo Lamas Group this past Tuesday here in Hershey!! The Justo Lamas Group Concerts are an educational program with the primary objective of promoting the study of the Spanish language thru music. During the 18 years they have been taking the Concerts to Schools all around the USA, Justo Lamas has heard hundreds of teachers say how their program has created in their students interest and enthusiasm for the Spanish language. There were over 250 students from Hershey and surrounding schools that took part in this educational concert experience! A HUGE SHOUT OUT to Senora Bottom on all the planning, preparation, and communication that went into putting on an event of this magnitude. Also, THANK YOU to the HPS custodial staff for their work in helping set up and tear down for the event. Finally, THANK YOU to Senora DaMoude and the other volunteers that showed up to help out with the preparation and running off of the concert. Hershey was honored to host the event and hope that the students who attended the event had a blast!!!

Congratulations to HPS Senior, Katie Abbott, on being named the 2024 NSAA Believer's and Achiever's Local Award winner!!! Katie is involved in a number of NSAA activities including softball, play production, speech, and instrumental music.
