Congratulations to HPS Senior, Alex Brown, on being selected as the HPSEF April Student of the Month! Alex is an active member of the Hershey student body as he participates in football and track & field. Alex is diligent in the classroom and is a positive leader in the hallways at Hershey High School!!!  Hershey staff commented that Alex "has a diligent approach to tasks with his strong sense of obligation.  His quirky and lively humor brightens both fields of academics and athletics." Another staff member said that "Alex is always ready to help when needed. He is dependable and is pleasant to be around." A final Hershey staff member stated that "Alex Brown is determined to succeed academically while excelling in sports, which makes him a role model for other students and displays a balance of responsibilities. His work ethic and resilience are something to be acknowledged and celebrated!" Again, congratulations to Panther Senior, Alex Brown, on being selected as the HPSEF April Student of the Month!!!

NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT!!! We are excited to announce that Mr. Chris Stier and Mrs. Lindsay Stier will be joining the Hershey staff this coming school year! Mr. Stier will serve as the JH Math / Strength & Conditioning / Head Football Coach and Mrs. Stier will serve as the K-6 Media Specialist and HAL Coordinator. Chris and Lindsay Stier are originally from eastern Nebraska and have four children: Ainslee-7th grade, Asher-5th grade, Eleanor-2nd grade, and Clara-3 years old. Chris has 20 years of coaching experience both at the collegiate and high school levels. He's taught English, Math, and PE, and also spent 4 years as a Special Agent in the FBI. Lindsay has been in education for 15 years at the upper-elementary level and as a school Librarian/ Media Specialist. Please welcome Mr. Chris Stier and Mrs. Lindsay Stier to our team here at Hershey! #PANTHERMOJO

ALERT: Due to Hershey hosting the 2024 Hershey/NPSP JH Invitational on Wednesday, April 10th, we will be CLOSING the NORTH PARKING LOT & STAFF PARKING LOT (EAST) for STUDENT & STAFF PARKING on TOMORROW (4.10.24). This will allow for track spectators to park there while school is in session and also allow HANDICAPPED individuals to park in the EAST PARKING LOT tomorrow. We will not allow spectators to walk through the school tomorrow. Students & Staff, please plan on a little extra time getting to the building on that day since you will have to park on the SOUTH or WEST side of the building. Thank you for your help with this!! 2023-2024 NSAA MULTI-ACTIVITY STUDENT AWARD WINNERS!!! In an effort to emphasize the importance of multi-activity participation, the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) and the Nebraska State Colleges launched the Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award program in the fall of 2020. The award recognizes students in grades 9-12 who participate in at least three NSAA sanctioned activities throughout the academic year. Congratulations to the 51 Panther students who have earned this award for the 2023-2024 school year! Your commitment to be involved and represent Hershey is noticed and we are thankful for your time and effort!!! #PANTHERMOJO

Good afternoon Panther Nation!!! During the weeks of April 15th-19th and April 23rd & 24th your child will be taking either the a NSCAS, MAPS or ACT tests. These test scores help us as a district to check student performance by measuring academic achievement and growth. These results are then used to drive instructional decisions with the goal of impacting student learning! Additionally, the test reports also provide typical growth data for students who are in the same grade, subject and have the same starting performance level. We have challenged the ENTIRE student body to bring the best version of themselves not only to test, but during the entire month of April. We are challenging students to take pride in their attendance, grades, behavior, and effort during the month of April! For the grade level that rises to the occasion for this "MOJO Challenge", we have a special reward for the students on the last day of school! Thank you for your support and encouragement at home and we look forward to seeing our students perform well this month! Go Panthers!! Mr. Cudney
