PANTHER PLAY PRODUCTION!!! Your Hershey Panthers took home 3rd place at the C-5 District Competition yesterday in Bridgeport! Additionally, Jordan Arensdorf, Katie Abbott, Zoe Schmitt, and Avalon Quick all were honored with outstanding actor/actress awards at the competition. Great job by all the cast, crew, and coaches on making this production the best it could be all throughout the year!!! #PANTHERMOJO

PANTHER WINTER S&C - All 7-12 Students NOT out for a winter sport are encouraged to take part in Panther Off-Season S&C sessions here at Hershey High School!!! Daily sessions will focus on strength, range of motion, core stability, and plyometric explosiveness. Sessions will run from 3:50 - 4:30 PM Monday-Thursday in the Panther Weight Room. PLAY PRODUCTION POST-SEASON is starting TODAY as they take part in the C-5 District Competition held at Bridgeport High School. The production of "The Blue and They Grey" will take the stage at 10:00 AM CST. SPVA RUNNER UP!!! Your Panther Play Production "The Blue & The Grey" brought home runner up honors from the 2023 SPVA Play Production Championships!!! Additionally Katie Abbott was the Outstanding Female Actress and Zoe Schmitt was named to the SPVA All Conference Team. HOF JAMBOREE GAMEDAY!! Your Hershey Panther Basketball teams will be hosting the Sidney Red Raiders in the annual HOF Jamboree Games TODAY at Hershey High School. The girls game will tip at 5:30 PM CST with the boys game to follow around 7:00 PM CST. Admission to the event will be $6.00 for Adults and $5.00 for Students. NO PASSES will be accepted for tonight's game as all proceeds will go to the Nebraska Hall of Fame. #PANTHERMOJO


WRESTLING MEET DAY!! The Panther JH Wrestling team will be in action TODAY @ the Perkins County Invitational!! Wrestling in Grant will start @ 2:30 PM CST. This will be the last competition for the Panther grapplers this season...Good luck as you REP HPS today boys!! #PANTHERMOJO


JH WRESTLING MEETS this week!!! Your Hershey Panther JH wrestling team will be in action two times this week. On Monday, the Panthers competed at the NPSP Invitational and brought home some hardware!! TODAY, the Panthers will hit the road and compete at the Mullen Invitational. Action from Mullen High School will begin at 11:00 AM. The season is coming to a close soon....compete hard and finish the year on a positive note!!! #PANTHERMOJO


GOOD LUCK to HPS Junior, Katie Abbott, as she participates in the 2023 Nebraska All-State Band starting TODAY in Lincoln. Katie was one of the few students selected across the state to take part in this prestigious event. She will practice with the ensemble over the next few days and then take part in a performance on Saturday, November 18th at the Lied Performing Arts Center. FFA LDE #1 RESULTS!!! Panther FFA members Lillian Fuchser and Ceiden Childears placed 1st and 2nd respectively at the FFA District LDE contest yesterday in Curtis, NE. Lillian was the district champ in Extemporaneous Speaking and Ceiden got 2nd in Employment Skills...Great job Hershey FFA members!!! #PANTHERMOJO

The Hershey Panther Winter Sports Media Day will be this THURSDAY, November 16th starting at 3:45 PM in the Hershey Panther MAIN GYM!!
We will be taking pictures in the MAIN GYM and will follow the schedule below.
JH Girls Basketball: 3:45 PM
HS Wrestling: 3:55 PM
HS Boys Basketball 4:05 PM
HS Girls Basketball: 4:15 PM
Nebraska Portraits will be emailing BOTH the student and the parent ordering information for the pictures taken on that day.
If a student cannot make it on that day, they can arrange an individual session with Nebraska Portraits at a later date.

Congratulations to HPS Senior, Kaden Thompson, on being selected as the HPSEF October Student of the Month! Kaden is a very active member of the Panther student body. He participates in football, wrestling, track & field, NHS, FBLA, and the Teammates program, all the while maintaining a 3.87 cumulative GPA.
Hershey teachers commented that Kaden "Is an outstanding role model in the class and sports. While being competitive, he is always positive and willing to help where needed. " Another teacher commented "KT does it the right way! Works hard, good student, good classmate, and very respectful to all." A final staff member said that Kaden "Is a leader in the classroom and in all activities. He isn't always the most vocal but he leads by example and holds himself and those around him to high standards. He works hard at everything he is involved with and never stops until he gets the job done."
